It's simple economics, location and work force!

Location
Medicine Hat is bisected by the Trans-Canada Highway #1, and located at the east end of Highway #3 connects to the cities of Calgary, Regina, Vancouver, Lethbridge and Swift Current. Medicine Hat's proximity to the Montana border also provides opportunity with the United States via Highway #41 to the Wild Horse Border Crossing. Medicine hat has a full service regional airport with daily service to Calgary and we are on the CP Rail line.

With a sound infrastructure, logistics in and out of town, low traffic, very reasonable commercial and residential real estate costs and cost of living, Medicine Hat and the surrounding area makes an attractive offer for those wishing to relocate here. A very diverse manufacturing and service base including such names as Goodyear, ADM Ogilvy, Meggitt Defence Systems Canada and Canadian Fertilizers have major operations here.

Work Force
The area has a strong, dedicated and knowledgeable work force, with Medicine Hat College working to meet the post secondary education, trades and technological schooling and training needs.

You will find a strong family orientated city, with close relations to neighbors and a welcoming community to settle newcomers. A small city attitude, with big city ambition places Medicine Hat on the brink of explosion with opportunity.

This economically diverse area has lots to offer new and established business and people.
